At 12.01 am on Thursday 4th June Las Vegas casinos open their doors again in a very different way to welcome customers back after being closed for 78 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Not all casino properties opened, some will open in phases over the next days and weeks but customers were still there waiting for midnight and them to enter the venues which have changed somewhat since their last visit.
There are now shows open, no buffets for gamblers to use and there are strict safety protocols including social distancing and regulations on how many players per table and slot machine.
However one gambler shouted as he waited to get in tot eh Red Rock casino resort, “I just want to gamble!”
How the new Las Vegas will work and how many customers will come back to this new way of gambling while safe from COVID-19 only time will tell.
